Hii..Mulberry #NaPoWriMo

Started with m and ended with y.
Couldn’t decide, it was worm or vine.
Found in shred, was really different.
Sweetest Morus and mulberry named.

black, white, red also dried as snacks.
Full nutrient medic anti oxident.
Thought first just food of silks.
Got that late, also little allergic.

Struts as you know, only in monsoons.
Demands only moist in soil as soon.
OMG it got a lot of names.
Mallbar, mora, shahtoot tutee fame.

Some also said, got red cause love.
Babylonian myth of unfinished work.
Spread cause of silk, demands in herd.
Cure of aging, so practised as herbs.

Easy made fall thirty feet of heights.
Just little shake, hand full in eyes.
Imagine the scene, won’t really be cute.
Few green drupes, yet sweet as fruits.

Few new words were:

  • Morus : a widely distributed genus of trees that is the type of the family Moraceae and that comprises the mulberries which have usually dentate or lobed leaves, spicate flowers, and edible multiple fruits consisting of aggregates of juicy one-seeded drupes.
  • drupe : In botany, a drupe (or stone fruit) is an indehiscent fruit in which an outer fleshy part (exocarp, or skin; and mesocarp, or flesh) surrounds a single shell (the pit, stone, or pyrene) of hardened endocarp with a seed (kernel) inside, here it meant leaves.
